Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My grandmother and I came in for lunch and the staff sat us immediately. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and entrees. All of which came out in the span of 20 minutes. Our server was a young girl who was extremely friendly and accommodating. All of our food was hot and served nicely. I came from Orlando Florida and this small restaurant did better than most back home! I would come back.

I’ve eaten here now maybe 4 times. This time was my last time. The service is bare minimum here. Our spring rolls were still cold and soggy in the middle so we had to send them back. Then my friend ordered the Pad Thai (his first time ever having Thai ) it was also disappointing for me for him. I’ve had better. I was in the mood for beef salad and usually it’s full of yummy liquid from the lime, fish sauce and other seasonings…. This Salad was soaking in the β€œmeat water” is what I will call this flavorless salad.. so disappointed. Thai food is my favorite food and I was hoping to give my friend a nice experience but this was not it. The Diet Coke was also weak almost watered down…

Very cute sweet Thai restaurant. Staff is so helpful. Very accommodating. They have plenty of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options - tofu and veggies galore! We ordered Tom Yum soup, crab rangoon, and one of my favorites Gra Prow basil chicken. If you want it spicy, be sure to ask for the heat, as medium wasn't spicy enough! πŸ˜‰πŸ”₯

I visited Basil Leaf for lunch with a bestie. The crowd was minimal, primarily retirees and people grabbing their lunch to go. It was clean, fairly quiet and our server took good care of our needs. I ordered sushi and the drunken noodles. The entree was served with a cup of soup and all the food was AMAZING. I highly recommend the sushi and can attest to the clean feeling of the food…definitely didn’t leave feeling like I’d eaten greasy or heavy fare. I’ll be back!
